Acute episode with dyspnea, diaphoresis, or tachycardia
Anorexia
Nausea or vomiting
Weight loss
Blood in the stool
Dysphagia or odynophagia
Failure to respond to therapy with H2 blockers or proton pump inhibitors (PPIs)
